Apparently, The treaties have been signed and the hands have been shaken. Chris Brown and Drake have officially buried the hatchet. TMZ has a pic of the two of them in a recording studio working. The beef began two years ago when it seemed like Drizzy and Rihanna were getting too cozy for Chris’s comfort. It exploded during a bloody brawl in a New York night club that left Breezy, his bodyguard and hoops star Tony Parker injured.
Meek Mill Is Behind Bars
Rapper Meek Mill crossed the line one time too many with the D.A., and now he’s sitting in a Philadelphia jail where he’ll remain for the next several months. Meek was in court to face the judge for multiple violations of his parole on a 2009 drug and gun conviction. Meek’s been bad-mouthing the District Attorney’s Office on Twitter. Prosecutors say he also repeatedly scheduled concerts without getting them pre-approved — and changed his cell phone number without telling them. In court the judge told Meek, “I didn’t want to do this, but you made me do this” — and then he was sentenced to 3 to 6 months in a city jail. Meek begged the judge for mercy, saying … “This will be extremely damaging to my life.”
Bobby Brown Drops Off The New Edition Tour
Bobby Brown has turned the page on his return to New Edition — by dropping off their reunion tour for “medical reasons.” The rest of the group will go on without Bobby, who’d been having trouble keeping up the pace in recent shows — missing dance moves and leaving the stage altogether for some songs. His publicist blamed the trouble on an “intrusive medical procedure” that he thought he could work through. Bobby has issued a statement saying, “I apologize to the fans of New Edition. I really wanted to be with my brothers, but presently I am unable to give the fans what they typically expect from New Edition.”
