Mathew Knowles thinks that Solange‘s elevator fight with Jay Z was a masterfully executed marketing ploy. The video came out right around the same time that the King and Queen announced their On The Run Tour. Mathew said during a recent radio interview that Jay may have been taking a hit so that the whole family could prosper. He and Bey wanted to make sure that their tour would bring in big bucks (not that they really have to worry about that). “You have to sometimes ignite that tour. It’s called a Jedi Mind Trick,” He explained, “[It] fools you a lot of times, so things you see sometimes…All I know is Jedi Mind Trick. Everybody’s talking about it,” he said, pointing out how the family scandal translated into big bucks. “Ticket sales went up. Solange’s album sales went up 200 percent.”
Bobby Shmurda Involved In A Drive-By
A Bobby Shmurda show in New Jersey became chaotic last night following a drive-by shooting. According to TMZ, someone at Club Eden in Roselle, New Jersey fired two shots in the parking lot. Police quickly responded and tried to clear the lot, which sources say was filled with over 200 “unruly and agitated” fans. The sources say no one was hit by the shots and that Shmurda was gone by the time police arrived.
Bobbi Kristina’s Hubby Busted
Bobbi Kristina Brown’s husband Nick Gordon is lucky to be alive after a serious car crash in Georgia early this morning. Bobbi’s brother-husband totaled his BMW after losing control of the vehicle, hitting a fire hydrant and flipping the car over. Officers arriving at the scene found that Gordon had a suspended license and said his “behavior” following the crash gave them probable cause to arrest him for DUI. Sources say cops are waiting on a warrant for a blood test.
