DMX has been arrested, yet again, in good ol South Cak! He was charged with driving under the influence in Greenville County early Friday morning. He was also charged with not having a driver’s license. His rep has released a statement saying, “Allegations about DMX being arrested for drunk driving are false. He was arrested early this morning but quickly released. X was given a breathalyzer test and easily passed it. He is back at his home in South Carolina and we are continuing our focus on his upcoming album and acting roles.”
Flavor Flav Gets Evicted
Apparantly, Flavor Flav has been too bust starring on Couples Therapy to tend to his business! Flavor Flav’s Chicken & Ribs has fried its last wing. The fast food joint was evicted once and for all from its last remaining location, in Sterling Heights, MI, following an epic battle with its landlord. A rep for Flav didn’t have much to say about the eviction, only saying Flav leaves the day-to-day operations of the restaurant to his partners. Flav’s Chicken in Sterling Heights, MI, was previously evicted back in June after the landlord claimed Flav’s business partners had been stiffing him on rent — but the business partners bought themselves some extra time by filing a Motion to Stay the eviction and re-opened. The Motion to Stay was granted on the condition Flav’s business partners and the landlord came to an agreement regarding past rent — but that never happened, so on Thursday, the Motion to Stay was officially denied. The Michigan location was the last remaining Flav’s Fried Chicken in the country — the other locations in Vegas and Iowa have also closed.
Toni Braxton Is Officially Divorced
Toni Braxton is officially divorced from Keri Lewis after 12 years of marriage. Toni’s rep says, “The couple has had an amicable split and will still both be actively involved in raising their two sons, 11-year-old Denim and 10-year-old Diezel.”
Box Office Report
The Wolverine clawed its way to the top of the weekend box office list, earning $55 million in its debut. The Conjuring was second with $22.1 million and Despicable Me 2 was third with $16 million.
