Keyshia Cole’s hubby Daniel “Boobie” Gibson was arrested in New Orleans yesterday and charged with assault and battery. Police say he’s accused of punching some guy at a nightclub on July 8th, breaking his jaw. Law enforcement says the fight apparently started with a verbal argument. “Boobie” issued a statement confirming he turned himself in to authorities…”Earlier this month during the Essence Music Festival, I was involved in an incident with other individuals while I was out with my wife. It’s unfortunate that some see opportunity in taking advantage of people who work hard for what they have achieved.”

Two video models are suing Tyga for allegedly exposing their breasts in an explicit release of his 2012 music video, “Make It Nasty”. The lawsuit stated that during the audition for the roles in the clip, Velasquez and Davies were told that no nudity would be involved. The dancers appeared topless in some scenes, but were told that their bare nipples would be “covered” or “edited out.” The girls then felt betrayed when seeing their nipples exposed in the uncensored version.

Fugees Video Director Sentenced To 50-Years

Speaking of videos, the director of The Fugees’ “Killing Me Softly”, Aswad Ayinde, who is believed to have fathered six children with three of his own daughters, was sentenced to 50 years in prison for sexual assault. That sentence is on top of a 40-year prison term he received 20 months ago. The new punishment for repeatedly raping one his daughters since she was 8. He had nine children with his ex-wife Beverly and at least three more with two other women and was apparently trying to create a “pure” bloodline. “He said the world was going to end, and it was just going to be him and his offspring and that he was chosen,” Beverly Ayinde testified at a pre-trial hearing before the first conviction.
